    Sunnie Joh

    Project Manager

Sunnie is responsible for the organization, population and oversight of all construction packages, and manages materials sourcing and estimating for Fine Finishes. She is "always designing and building something, whether a cabin in the woods, a garden bed, a rope swing launch pad, or a house for a client." Over the last 20 years, Sunnie has learned and practiced most aspects of construction. She loves creating spaces and experiences for people. Through her design studio, EcoFuture Design, she focuses on residential design and site planning, while her educational background is in architecture and ecological design. Her passion for building, with natural and new materials to high-performance building assemblies, building science and HVAC systems, makes her an ideal project manager.

"So much of this industry is about collaborating with all the trades, and I love this part of the job. Knowing how things are built has made me a better designer and collaborator. We all have so much to learn from each other. I’m grateful to be working with Fine Finishes as their Project Manager. We share the goal of creating beautiful, healthy, energy-efficient, comfortable, and durable spaces for people."

Sunnie holds a Master of Science in Ecological Design from the The Conway School of Landspace Design, Northampton, MA (2018); earned a Sustainable Building and Design Certification from Yestermorrow School, Warren, VT (2011); and received a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from The Cooper Union School of Architecture, New York, NY (2004).

When she isn't working, Sunnie enjoys spedning time with her family.
